A new year means new changes. Now is a great time to revisit and refresh to start your business strong this year. The best place to start is with your Google Business Profile (formally known as Google My Business).

There are a few things that can be done to optimize your Google Business Profile to make your business more visible in search results and more appealing to customers.

  1. Accuracy

Ensure that your phone number, address, pin, hours, and amenities are all accurate. If our team is currently managing your listing, rest assured that we are consistently updating your listing for accuracy and profile completeness.

  1. Photos

It’s the new year, are there any changes you have made in 2021 or are making to your location? Add new photos so that customers can visualize your place of business.

  1. Verification

  1. Reviews

Responding to reviews is important. Not only does it help improve local listing rank, but it also improves overall SEO rank and has shown to have a positive effect on paid search (or PPC) advertising on Google. You can respond to your reviews on Google directly through LOCALACT.

  1. Tracking

With the new update, you are also now able to track phone calls made from your Google Business Profile. It will note total answered and missed call count, performance, and history. Now is a great time to review these metrics and find areas that may need improvement.
